In addition, Bruce also has the unique distinction of being invited by Dwan to teach at her Maryland short sale boot camp. Donna Bauer, another mentor and friend says Bruce’s professionally packaged short sale package is an example of what a short sale package should look like. As a natural extension of short sales, Bruce has also worked with Donna on the purchase and sale of mortgage notes and has become active in the ultimate wealth building strategy not as a mortgage broker or loan officer, but as a mortgage lender and servicer. Bruce has also played a central role in raising the investor community awareness of the Maryland Protection of Homeowners in Foreclosure Act of 2005 (SB-761) and was the only investor representative who testified before the Sub-Committee hearings in Annapolis. Bruce has been recognized as the leading expert on the subject by investors, Realtors, and Maryland attorneys and his documents are some of the most sought after documents in the industry. His expertise became national in scope when he agreed to write a series of articles for the national real estate publication REIP the Rewards. Bruce became a speaker and educator at the request of other investors. He is quick to remind everyone that he is an investor first and everything else second. He began by co-teaching the #1 How-to-Get-Started class in the area, "Going in Motion," with Sherman Ragland. Since then he has spoken regionally at many real estate investment associations, taught boot camps, been a speaker at other boot camps, and spoken at National REIA events. He currently helps students across America with their short sales and other real estate investing needs. His ethical philosophy and sound business practices has impacted local and national organizations and investors. Bruce has recently moved to Pennsylvania with his wife and daughter where he is fast becoming a recognized leader in real estate in that market.
