Greg Wilby started his renovation company in Washington, DC in 1982 (Capitol Renovations, Inc). Wilby toiled for seven years to make a decent living, but ultimately shut it down in the 1989 recession. After working in sales for a new home builder, Stok Homes, he moved on to work of American Family Homes specializing in building On Your Lot homes, setting up permits and financing using owner’s equity. Shortly after Wilby set up Chesapeake Custom Homes, LLC with three partners, combining 60 years homebuilding experience, building custom homes and modifying existing models.
Derek McDaniels has over 23 years of real estate experience. Prior to establishing his own firm, McDaniels was Vice President of Operations at Ryland Homes, in which he was reponsible for ten residential for sale communities as well as creating and implementing urban real estate development strategies. McDaniels was instrumental in developing a strong partnership with Baltimore city and initiating the development of several urban communities including Montgomery Square, Barre Station, and Woodlands at Coldspring. McDaniels Development Company LLC is a real estate development firm pursuing opportunities in land development, multifamily housing, homeowner maintenance service, title service and residential home building.

John Roberts has been actively involved in the residential and commercial construction industries for 34 years. He supervised the construction of over 400 luxury, single-family homes and townhomes, advancing through management from Assistant Superintendent to Project Manager. As a Real Estate Developer, Roberts was responsible for all activities including acquisition, feasibility studies, budgets, architectural design, land development design engineering, field supervision, marketing and overall management for several subdivisions totalling 400 homes valued over $100 million. Primary clients have included; Hilton Hotels Corporation, Prudential Realty Group, Riggs National Bank and the $50 million Bowie Town Center in Maryland.
